Bathroom Time!

In the bathroom, and nichole comes in and i ask her what shes doing her project on, she tells me its about homeless animals. But anyways, i worked on my essential question today because currently it was Why do people abuse animals? and i think it would be to bland now for me to do, so i talked to Ms.Savido and she came up with Why has animal cruelty increased? and you know what? i like that one but i would wanna reword it a little so its more eye catching. I already have an idea of some of my foundation question and they are:
1.Why would people harm animals?
2.Where do people go when they abuse animals?
3. What do people do to the animals when they abuse them?
4. What are the punishment for the different types of abuses?
5. Are other violent behaviors associated with animal cruelty?
6. How many cases are in each state?
7.Is killing animals mostly for clothing or for amusement?
8.Do people that abuse animals, abuse people to?
9.What are the different types of abuse?
10. Is it mostly males or females that abuse animals.

I love my topic

I really like my topic that im using so far, alright so its about animal cruelty and i was using my websites today to find defintions on my topic. I seen that there is alot of diffrent types of cruelty and that people actually poison animals. Next weekend my dog is going to animal friends to get fixed(due to the fact of animal cruelty and how there arent enough homes for dogs, cats, etc.) when i go im going to ask if i could volunteer there or maybe they could give me some information about my topic

Wow, people are so nasty

So, i thought again today and changed my topic back to animal cruelty(i don't like the word abuse.) Thanks to Brandon, who talked to me about what he did with the animals at the humane society and how i could have people at school bring in dog toys, blankets, etc; for the animals at the shelter. So i think I'm going to do my project on animal cruelty.I did some research on it, and this have this website called pet-abuse.com and it gave me tons of ideas. It gave me a topic to use, and it showed me all the ways of abuse. It also showed me this thing called "crush videos" where people take small animals and squash and kill them for a fetish. They were the most graphic and gross pictures i had ever seen before, it makes me want to be a vegetarian.

But, im confused

I just got done talking to Ms.Savido on how i wanna do something with animals, but i think animal abuse to common of a topic to do. So i searched online on animal projects, and when i came across something about animal extinction. I thought of using that but what would i make my topic about, when i thought about polar bears and how global warming is getting worse and the animals in the cold climates are getting affected by it and going into extinction. So i thought what if my question was this: What do you suppose will happen to polar bears if global warming worsens?

Thinking

I have been thinking about Mrs.Savidos idea that she gave me yesterday about the nursing "journey" thing, but I also like the idea of doing something about/with animal abuse. I think im going to fall towards the animal abuse because it will be more interesting to me, to know more about animals and what kind of people would do that and what kind of punishment they would get.
(picture) Diamond my dog, thats the main reason I want to learn more about animal abuse becasue she came from a home that abused animals.

Getting started here...

At City High i have heard that the graduation project is alot of work. Also that you have to get envolved with what your doing by, doing interviews, taking surveys, and communicating with other people.I know someone that did there grad project and they went to a school and presented them with books and pictures on there topic.
I enjoy animals, so i am thinking about structuring my project around that.
I have a concern of not being able to finish my work, or thinking of a good topic or concern to do for it, and aloso if I have all the right information for doing the project.
